What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website or use the Service. They let us remember your session, your preferences, and understand how the product is used.
Cookies We Use
### Essential cookies (required for the Service to work)
- **Session and authentication (Supabase)**: Keeps you signed in and protects access to your account.
- **CSRF token**: Security protection against forged requests.
- **Language preference (sp_lang / Next-Locale)**: Remembers the language you chose for browsing the site and the Service.
These cookies are required for the Service to work correctly and cannot be turned off from our preferences; you can block them from your browser settings, but some features are likely to stop working.
### Analytics cookies (only if you accept them)
- **PostHog**: Product usage analytics used to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
- **Sentry**: Does not set tracking cookies; it is used for technical error logging, not for user profiling.
### Advertising cookies
We currently do not use third-party advertising cookies or engage in cross-site tracking for advertising purposes.
Cookies on Our Users' Public Pages
The public pages ("funnels" or bio pages) our users create and publish with Sponsoly also use an essential language-preference cookie to remember which language each visitor prefers to browse in. This cookie does not identify the individual and is not used for advertising purposes.
How to Control Cookies
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, although this may affect some Service features (for example, staying signed in). Check your browser's help resources to manage them:

- [Firefox](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox)

If you access the Service from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we display a cookie notice to request your consent before enabling non-essential cookies, in accordance with applicable local rules (for example, the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR). You can change your choice at any time from the site's cookie settings or your browser settings.
